At Charles and Sue’s School of Hair Design, we go beyond the “How” to show you the “Why.”
Charles and Sue’s School of Hair Design was founded in 1971. The school was moved to its current location in 1979. The facility was built and designed for the express purpose of training students in the theory and practice of cosmetology.
Welcome to the world of beauty and hair design and the special education offered by Charles & Sue’s School of Hair Design. If you love working with people and are willing to devote the time and energy necessary for real success, then this is the field for you!
Charles & Sue’s School of Hair Design is proud to feature The Summit Salon Curriculum, where we utilize the “Big 4”: Service, Retail, Repeat, and Referral. We help our student stylists understand that the “Big 4” will help bring in revenue that will influence personal income once they graduate. As a student stylist, you will be part of a team, where you will be coached and mentored to reach your full potential while in school; as well as after you graduate. Your coach will show you how to achieve Top 20 Star Power!
Our designer’s approach to: hair sculpting – hair designing – artistic perming – creative coloring and long hair design will teach you the principles of art. The Designer’s Approach was developed to bring together the leading ideas of science and art with an educational foundation. At Charles and Sue’s School of Hair Design, we will teach you the principles to be successful. Knowing, the Pivot Point Designer’s Approach is like knowing the basic notes in a musical composition. It is these basic “notes” that we teach our students through the Designer’s Approach which will be the principles for you to understand and perform in the most effective way.
