Charles and Sue's School of Hair Design was founded in 1971. The school is regulated and licensed by the Texas Cosmetology Commission. The school is also accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences.

Charles & Sue's School of Hair Design was moved to it's current location in 1979. The facility was built and designed for the express purpose of training students in the theory and practice of cosmetology.



The mission for Charles & Sue's School of Hair Design is to prepare graduates for careers in cosmetology arts and sciences and/or related and/or unrelated fields. The school continuously strives to improve its operation and keep alert of the ever-changing developments and techniques in cosmetology. It abides by all rules and regulations of the Texas Cosmetology Commission and all such codes and regulations established by city, state and federal authority.

Charles & Sue's purchases only high grade standard equipment, cosmetics and supplies to be used for instruction and training of its students. The school strives to create and maintain honest and fair relationships with its staff, students, patrons, Texas Cosmetology Commission, the Accrediting Commission and all others.


Our educational facilities include everything you will need to learn today's salon practices. Our school has two large classrooms, each equipped with modern audio/visual/DVD equipment and the tools needed for each stage of your training, plus two student salons, where we offer services to the public at a reduced rate. All services are performed by students under the supervision of licensed instructors.
